Multi-Vintage Rose, Albourne Estate
Description
A lovely example of the delicate style of English bottle-fermented sparkling rosé wines. With a beautiful, pale salmon-pink hue and soft aromas of peach, rose, wild strawberry, and almond blossom this wine is dry and elegant with a fresh mineral character on the palate.
Made predominantly from gently whole-bunch pressed Pinot Noir cuvée from the 2019 harvest, blended with a proportion of crushed Pinot Noir to maximise the fruit expression and a touch of Chardonnay and Ortega from 2018 to add complexity and interest.
Best served cool from the fridge (5 to 8oC), it will make a great summer drink to accompany light Mediterranean dishes, salads and barbequed fish and prawns.
