Geronimo Cinsault, Lukas Van Loggerenberg
Description
From Stellenbosch Cinsault, one in Firgrove planted in 1978 and the other in Bottelary planted in 1989. 100% whole-bunch fermented. An utterly seduction nose with notes of red cherry, rose, pomegranate and herbs. The palate is light-bodied with lemon-like acidity and powdery tannins. Lovely purity and clarity while simultaneously being almost ephemeral.

Producer Details
Devoted to expressing particular patches of earth, Lukas reminds visitors to his makeshift cellar that terroir is not everything and that some winemakers just have the touch and an instinct to make great wine. We agree and he definitely has that touch and instinct. All the wines are made without the aid of any additives, including commercial yeast.
