Description
A powerful wine with toasted fragrances and aromas of warm spices. Vinified by carbonic maceration and aged in oak barrels for approximately 70% of the volume.
The color of this wine is a deep garnet red.
The nose is powerful, mixing warm spices and toasted and roasted fragrances. In the background, the black fruit brings delicacy and delicacy.
On the palate, the attack is frank, tinged with a freshness that will accompany the entire tasting; this rich and harmonious blend reveals a lovely fruit that resonates pleasantly with the toasted notes. The whole is perfectly linked and structured by very perceptible and elegant tannins.

Located in the heart of Languedoc, between Narbonne and Carcassonne, ontarèche is one of the oldest wine estates and a reference in the Corbières appellation. The Fontarèche vineyard extends over more than 130 hectares perfectly distributed around the Château and the winemaking cellar.
In 1682, Château Fontarèche and its estate became the property of Pierre Mignard, portrait painter of Louis XIV. The Lamy family, descendants of the Mignard family, are the current owners of the estate and rely on a passionate and dynamic team led by the director Vincent Dubernet.
