How do you make our biggest beer even bigger? By resting it for months in ex-bourbon barrels of course! Stoutzilla has been slumbering in barrels for the last half year and is now ready to take the world by storm: our Titan stout has gone to new heights of flavour and depth. Before barrel-ageing, we enhanced the base Stoutzilla recipe with even more delicious, dark malt for an even bolder body, perfectly fortified to stand up to the time and transformation within the barrel. The result is a complex, rich, jet-black brew that’s furiously malty & lavishly infused with cocoa nibs and locally roasted coffee. Fortified and punchy, Barrel Aged Stoutzilla emerges with a velvety-smooth mouthfeel, delivering layers of rich chocolate, cold pressed coffee, and a hit of vanilla sweetness. These flavours evolve into warming bourbon notes, accented by the subtle smokiness and oak character drawn from the barrels.

UnBarred was established in 2014 from the shed of founder and Head Brewer Jordan Mower. They soon outgrew the shed and moved onto gypsy brewing, enabling them to grow production and hone their craft, working together with other fabulous breweries.
Since establishing their taproom and brewery in the heart of Brighton in August 2019, Unbarred Brewery have quadrupled their production and embraced the Brighton community that they call home. The core range is stocked nationwide, alongside ltd editions that embody the creativity, passion and freedom that have always defined their core ethos. Unbarred love to collaborate with other breweries that share those same values.
